Speech Pathologist
SUMMARY:
The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and offers therapeutic interventions for patients experiencing communication and/or swallowing difficulties as a result of illness, accident, birth defect or developmental delay.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from ASHA accredited university
- Acute care experience preferred, including experience gained from graduate level clinical externship; strong dysphagia evaluation and treatment skills.
- NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license, NYS Limited License or license eligible
Location: Vassar Brothers Medical Center
Work Type: Per Diem
Work Shift: Weekends and weekdays as needed
Pay rate: $32 - $50 based on YOE
