External Description:

Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations – we are seeking a patient passionate Monitor Technician to join our ever-growing and award-winning teams here at Sharon Hospital. We are a smaller community facility that makes a large impact on our patients' lives.

Duties:

Our PMT are to provide  continuous digital observation and surveillance of assigned patients. First line of action is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors. Summons the on-site clinical staff if the patient requires assistance. Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Required: High School Graduate/G.E.D
• 1 year experience in hospital or clinical environment (physician office, nursing home, ambulatory services, etc.) providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Clinical Certification Strongly Preferred – CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT

Job Summary:

• Location: Sharon Hospital
• Work Type: Full-Time (Benefits included/PTO/401!)
• Standard Hours: 36 hrs a week through out the week
• Work Shift: 6:45a-7:15pm days, on call is mandatory is census is low
