We are seeking a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The main responsibilities include adult and geriatric inpatient care. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide individualized dysphagia, speech, voice, language and cognitive-communication evaluations and treatment to a diverse patient population. The candidate must have experience in acute care and working with the dementia population. Experience with Video Fluoroscopy is preferred. The candidate should possess strong clinical skills necessary to work independently. Active ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and licensure through state of CT Department of health are required. We look forward to adding another member to our exceptional team!
Responsibilities:
1.Review and evaluate patients’ medical history and perform a thorough systematic evaluation
2.Formulate and execute a skilled treatment plan
3.Consult with appropriate medical professionals as necessary
4.Document evaluations, reevaluations, progress reports and daily visits following ASHA and CMS guidelines and requirements
5.Continue to pursue continuing education to grow professionally
