We are seeking a dynamic occupational therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The main responsibility will include individualized outpatient evaluations and treatments to a diverse patient population. The candidate must have experience with neurological and orthopedic patients. Pediatrics experience is preferred. The candidate will also provide adult and geriatric inpatient care as need. Active licensure through state of CT Department of Health is required. We look forward to adding another member to our exceptional team!

Responsibilities:

1.Review and evaluate patients’ medical history and perform a thorough systematic evaluation

2.Formulate and execute a skilled treatment plan

3.Consult with appropriate medical professionals as necessary

4.Document evaluations, reevaluations, progress reports and daily visits following AOTA and CMS guidelines and requirements

5.Continue to pursue continuing education to grow professionally

6.Mentor new therapists

7.Participate in community activities that align with the department and hospital goals
