Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York
Summary:
Assists physicians in interventional procedures and takes x-rays and angiographs as ordered by referring physicians under state and registry guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assists/scrubs with radiologist utilizing universal precautions at all times.
- Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol.
- Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Ensures radiation protection for patient.
- Orders supplies/inventory. Stocks all supplies on a daily basis.
- Accurately schedules Interventional Procedures.
- Monitors radiographic quality for optimum diagnosis ensuring all films have the proper identification.
Desired: BLS and ACLS.
