Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.

JOB SUMMARY: To protect life and property and perform tasks with limited Supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or Equivalent, NYS Security Certification, NYS Drivers License.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Licensure/Registration/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum, must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license), NYS Drivers License.

Work Experience: Law Enforcement or Security Background.

Physical & Other Factors: Three hours sedentary per day. Stands, walks, bends, lifts, assists with morgue detail, and restrains patients during 1x1. Work & Environmental Conditions: Work in and outside hospital. Work outdoors during inclement weather. May come in contact with patients who have infectious diseases.
