Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations and we are seeking to bring to our growing Per Diem team, an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Technician 

Summary:

Assists the Director of Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacists in daily operations. Population served is based on scope of services in the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of inventory, i.e., stocking, receiving.
• Accurately refill medications to Pyxis from Pyxis refill reports throughout the day
• Order medications and supplies from wholesaler.
• Deliver medication and supplies to nursing units
• Regularly check pharmacy stock and Pyxis for outdates.
• Assist in the dispensing of employee OTC's, refill controlled substances to OR’s, OR Core, ASU, OPU and reconcile inventor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• prior Pharmacy Tech experience is required

Position Summary:

• Location: Northern Dutchess Hospital - Rhinebeck, NY
• Work Type: Per-Diem
• Work Schedule: Day/Eve 7.5 hr shifts
• Work Shift: Monday through Friday
• Salary Range: $16.32 -$31.05/ hr
