Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations.
Summary: The Medical Sonographers ( Ultrasound Technician , Diagnostic Medical technologist , Radiological Tech ) provides health care services applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Our sonographers perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following areas: OB/GYN, abdomen, pediatric extremities and vascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Select equipment for ultrasounds
- Explain tests to patients
- Prioritize patient safety
- Maintain examination records
- Show initiative and maintain productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Registered with ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of similar experience
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Salary: $31.25-$58.05 hourly (Based on experience)
