Overview:

• Provide professional nursing care within the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care.
• Determine care priorities based on patient needs and system flow factors.
• Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results.
• Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.

Requirements:

• 🎓 Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN required, BSN preferred).
• 🩺 Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• ✅ Current BLS required before start.
• 🏥 ACLS Certification within 3 months of hire.
• 💼 Minimum 1 year of current ER, ICU, PCU, CCU experience - no new grads at this time.

Position Summary:

• 📍 Location: Sharon Hospital
• ⏰ Work Type: Full-Time (36 hrs a week)
• 📅 Work Schedule: NIGHT shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• 💼 Department: Emergency Department 971
• 💰 Salary Range: $36.60 - $52.65/hr (Rate based on years of experience and before shift differentials!)
